MCCC Accountability Policy for Attendance at the NEA-RA
The MCCC Board of Directors voted the policy that MCCC delegates to the NEA-RA must provide proof of significant attendance at the NEA-RA to qualify for any expense reimbursement benefit from the MCCC. The MCCC policy uses the same criteria as the MTA, and requires the proof of attendance provided by the MTA.
Thus MCCC delegates who qualify for expense reimbursement, within allowance limits, MUST meet the attendance requirement of the MTA, AND must furnish proof that this requirement has been met to the MCCC.
Failure to provide the MTA-furnished proof of attendance, as well as receipts, will result in disqualification for reimbursement by the MCCC.
MTA’s NEA Accountability Policy
The MTA Board of Directors, based on a recommendation from the NEA Accountability Committee, voted to institute an accountability system for all MTA delegates to the NEA-RA. The system requires that all delegates attend at least 75% (six sessions) of the eight sessions of the NEA/RA meeting in order to receive the MTA stipend. The stipend and a certificate of payment will be distributed on the last day of the NEA Representative Assembly.
