Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center
Program: 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Social: 4:30 – 6 p.m.Please join us for MTA’s Union Skills Winter Conference on Saturday, January 6 at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel and Conference Center.
This conference will include a wide variety of 90-minute workshops related to the core activities of local unions and their leadership. Offerings will center on grievance handling, contract bargaining, member organizing and community engagement, education policy, communications, employee rights, political action and more!
Locals are strongly encouraged to bring a group of members to participate in different training segments based on their roles and interests. The more members who attend – from building representatives to grievance chairs, social media mavens to All In campaign leaders- the more valuable information and skills they will bring back to our locals. This is also a great opportunity for new activists to participate in an energizing statewide event while developing essential skills for their work within the local.
A downloadable list of workshop descriptions is available here.
We hope you will join us!
