TENURE
Professional staff and faculty who are eligible to be considered for tenure will receive notification by October 1st.

The eligibility and review procedures are as follows:
 

Eligibility

• 6 Full Years in Unit
• 3 Years in Current Job Function
• Other than Unsatisfactory on Most Recent Summary Evaluation

Eligibility Notice Due

• October 1 of 6th Year of Service

Review and Recommendations

• March 15th - Immediate Supervisor & Unit Personnel Practices Committee (UPPC) to Appropriate Dean (VP)
• April 15th - Appropriate Dean (VP) to President
• May 1st - President to Board of Trustees
• May 20th - Tenure Notice to Unit Member
• Beginning of 7th Year - Effective Date

If you believe you are eligible for tenure and you do not receive your eligibility notice by October 1st, contact your Director of Human Resources.
