This page is designed to help full-time day unit members compute their
salary if the current contract proposal is ratified.
- Copy of materials mailed to all day unit members (pdf).
- Just show me what my approximate INCREASE would be each
year.
(This is accurate except for points for post tenure reviews, rank
changes, licensures, degrees)
- Printed Table 0f
Yearly Increases (pdf)
- I'd like to compute the increase myself, by hand, and add
that to my current salary.
Includes the relevant data you will need except your current salary.
- Compute
Salary - Printed Worksheet (pdf)
- Compute
Salary - Instructions (pdf)
- Tables
A, B, C, H (pdf)*
- I'd like to compute the increase myself, but with an Excel spreadsheet, and add
that to my current salary.
Includes the relevant data you will need except your current salary. (B and C are the same as above)

EXPLANATION
Your salary is
based on (1) a Classification Base salary and (2) Classification
points. To refresh your memory, this is per the "Updated Grids" at
http://mccc-union.org/daycontract.htm . (The amounts in these grids do not reflect the
proposed contract.)
Your salary each
year of the proposed contact is based on (1) increases to the
classification BASE salary, which depends only on
your year of hire,
and (2) your points payments, which are the same for every one for
experience and seniority.
Item 1: A copy of the explanatory materials sent to all day members as part of the ratification materials.
Item 2: Since the BASE increases and experience and seniority POINT increases
are known for all full-time members by year of hire, it is possible to compute this component of the proposed
salary package. The results are in Item 2. This constitutes most of a salary increase for all members.
Item 3, 4: Only Experience and Seniority point values are incorporated
into the table in Item 2. Points for post-tenure reviews, rank changes,
licensures, degrees are different for almost every member. Thus
you would need to use
the computation worksheet in part 3 or 4 to incorporate these other
points. Items 3 and 4 are the same except that Item 4 offers a
spreadsheet instead of a printed worksheet.
